OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Oklahoma Department of Human Services (DHS) will present the fourth annual Women’s Leadership Conference Thursday, Oct. 23 from 8:15 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond. Registration will be open until September 30, with only a few slots remaining.
This year’s theme is “Strong Women—May we know them. May we raise them. May we be them.”
The conference targets women in both public service and the private sector who have a strong interest in achievement, the drive to advance their career, and a passion for partnering with others to promote women’s leadership.
More than 500 women are expected to attend, with a majority of them from state government. The conference is geared toward women at every stage in their careers, from administrative professionals to executives.
Keynote speakers include Pattye Moore, Owner, Pattye Moore and Associates; Marnie Taylor, President and Chief Executive Officer, Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits; and Carol Ann Washburn, Life Transition and Team Performance Coach.
About 30 slots remain open and are expected to be filled quickly so early registration is encouraged. Please visit the DHS website to register at http://www.okdhs.org/wlc
