OKLAHOMA CITY –The Northern Oklahoma Development Authority notified the Department of Human Services on Oct. 30 that it will stop serving as an Area Agency on Aging effective Dec. 6, 2013.
“We recognize NODA’s history of service. Our staff is actively working to develop a plan to ensure the seamless continuation of services to the area’s seniors,” said DHS Aging Services Director Lance Robertson.
An announcement will follow once a plan in finalized. The NODA AAA serves seniors in Alfalfa, Blaine, Garfield, Grant, Kay, Kingfisher, Major and Noble counties.
