Tillman County DHS worker honored as among the Best of the Best

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Cher Jones, Tillman County social worker for the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (DHS), was recently honored at the DHS Quality Awards luncheon in Oklahoma City. Jones was selected as one of the Best of the Best at DHS for 2013. She was nominated for the award by her supervisor, Jolee Akin Doucet.

"Cher is an exceptional worker who has compassion and commitment to her clients and she proves it by the time and effort she puts into every family she works with," says Doucet. "It is truly a joy to know and work with Cher."

Jones began her career with DHS as a child welfare caseworker in 2007 and became a comprehensive social worker in 2009. She lives in Frederick, Oklahoma with her husband and two children.
