OKLAHOMA CITY -- John Henry, Jackson County social worker for the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (DHS), was recently honored at the DHS Quality Awards luncheon in Oklahoma City. Henry was selected as one of the Best of the Best at DHS for 2013. He was nominated for the award by his supervisor, Kay Perryman.

"John is the type of worker you want on your team," says Perryman. "He is eager to help at any time and he's willing to do whatever is asked of him. He is an exceptional worker with compassion for his clients and fellow workers."

Henry began his career with DHS as a child welfare caseworker in 2006 and became a comprehensive social worker in 2008. He lives in Altus, Oklahoma with his wife and two children.
