OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Adult and Family Services Division of the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (OKDHS) is partnering with the Oklahoma Marriage Initiative (OMI) to offer the "Forever. For Real." marriage workshops on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013 in Oklahoma City, Midwest City and Tulsa.
According to OMI, the "Forever. For Real." program has significantly impacted the lives of couples and individuals throughout Oklahoma by helping them strengthen their relationships. More than 1,800 Oklahomans are expected to attend this year's free workshops which aim to improve communication, manage conflict effectively and keep relationships strong and healthy.
The skills learned in the workshops can also be useful in other relationships including parent/child interaction and communication between colleagues at work. The workshops are led by trained, professional workshop leaders from business, education, social services and the faith community.
For more information about the workshops, visit OMI Community Connections on Facebook, email Judith.Zanipatin@okmarriage.org or call 877-435-8033.
