OKLAHOMA CAPITOL -- First Lady Kim Henry will be presented the Outstanding Woman of the Year Award at the second annual Women’s Leadership Conference for Women in Public Service. The conference will be held 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., March 12 at the Reed Center, 5750 Will Rogers Rd., Midwest City, Okla.
Conference speakers include keynote addresses by former State Sen. Angela Monson, Carolyn Stager and Mrs. Oklahoma 2009 Heather Rouba along with other prominent female state leaders who will discuss leadership roles in public service for women. The conference will also include a panel question and answer session and breakout sessions.
The conference is geared toward women in public service and students who are interested in developing their leadership skills, advancing their careers and networking with other women.

Conference sponsors include the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, Oklahoma Office of Personnel Management and the University of Oklahoma Center for Public Management. This conference is part of the Oklahoma Department of Human Services Office of Planning, Research and Statistics Practice and Policy Lecture Series.
