Heath Receives Spirit of Service Award from Commission

OKLAHOMA CAPITOL -- Renee L. Heath, independent living instructor IV, Southern Oklahoma Resource Center, was the recipient this month of the OKDHS Commission Spirit of Service Award.

“Renee has the unique skill of being able to see a need and to develop a solution to resolve the issue,” stated Heath’s nomination form.

The Spirit of Service Award was initiated by the Oklahoma Commission for Human Services in an effort to recognize outstanding employees or employee teams who embody customer service and exemplify excellence, respect, knowledge, resourcefulness, kindness, availability, compassion and helpfulness. Nominations are sent in by OKDHS staff for consideration by the Commission, and one team or individual is recognized in their hometown on a monthly basis.
