Change a Child Forever Tulsa Community Gathering You Can Change the World of One Child

OKLAHOMA CAPITOL -- The Change a Child’s Forever campaign, in partnership with the Office of Faith Based and Community Initiatives (OFBCI) and the Children and Families Services Division of Oklahoma Department of Human Services (OKDHS), is hosting a community gathering to discuss the various needs of the Foster Care program and opportunities for involvement. The keynote speaker will be Randy Martin, founder and CEO of Covenant Community Services Inc., who has more than 20 years of social services experience and has served as director of a Royal Family Kids Camp in California.
The Change a Child’s Forever Community Gathering will be from 6 - 8:30 p.m., Sept. 15, at Boston Avenue United Methodist Church, 1301 S. Boston Avenue, Tulsa. The meeting is open to the public and includes a free meal for those who make a reservation by Sept. 8. Reservations can be made at web site.

“With approximately 90 children in Tulsa County entering the Foster Care system each month, there is an ongoing need for loving homes. Local faith and community groups are a great resource ​to provide support to enhance, enrich and encourage children in foster care,” says Robin Jones, OFBCI Director.
