Change a Child Forever Community Gathering You Can Change the World of One Child

OKLAHOMA CAPITOL -- The Change a Child’s Forever campaign, in partnership with the Office of Faith Based and Community Initiatives (OFBCI) and the Children and Families Services Division of Oklahoma Department of Human Services, is hosting a community gathering to discuss the needs and opportunities for involvement with the Foster Care program. The keynote speaker will be Randy Martin, founder and CEO of Covenant Community Services Inc., who has more than 20 years of experience in social services and has served as director of a Royal Family Kids Camp in California.
The Change a Child’s Forever Community Gathering will be from 6 - 8:30 p.m., Sept. 14 at First Baptist Moore, 301 N.E. 27th, Moore, Okla. The meeting is open to the public and includes a free meal for those who make a reservation by Sept. 8. Reservations can be made at web site.

“With approximately 150 children in Oklahoma County entering the Foster Care system each month; there is an ongoing need for loving homes for these children. Local faith and communit​y groups are a great resource to provide support to enhance, enrich and encourage children in foster care,” says Robin Jones, OFBCI Director.
