OKLAHOMA CAPITOL--Lanny Endicott, LCSW, MSSW, D.Min., of Oral Roberts University, will open a dialog on the Russian child welfare system, its history and current status, at noon, Oct. 17 at the Oklahoma History Center in the Oklahoma Capitol Complex.
Endicott’s speech is the third in the 2008 Practice and Policy Lecture Series, sponsored by the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (OKDHS) and the University of Oklahoma Center for Public Management.
Endicott is Director of Social Work and Service Learning at Oral Roberts University, Tulsa. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Marital and Family Therapist in Oklahoma.
Endicott serves as a case management consultant for child welfare supervisors for the Child Welfare Professional Enhancement Program, sponsored by the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma Department of Human Services. He was the 2003 Social Worker of the Year and is currently president-elect for the National Association of Social Workers, Oklahoma branch.
Endicott has traveled to Russia on numerous occasions working with Children’s Hope Chest to provide summer and winter camps for older orphans. He was helpful in the development of evaluation procedures for programs aiding older orphans. During the summer months, he teaches social work at the Russian American Christian University, Moscow.
He has earned a Bachelor’s degree at Missouri State University, a Master of Social Work from University of Missouri-Columbia, a Master’s in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and his doctorate in Ministry from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
