OKLAHOMA CAPITOL -- Marie Bernard, M.D., director of the Oklahoma Geriatric Education Center and chair of the Donald W. Reynolds Department of Geriatric Medicine at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine , will discuss the future healthcare workforce for older Americans May 15 at the State Capitol. Bernard presents on behalf of the OKDHS Practice and Policy Lecture Series.
The event, located in the theater of the Sequoyah Building basement, 2400 Lincoln Blvd., runs from noon to 1 p.m. Light refreshments will be available at 11:30 a.m. Sandwiches will be available for purchase. Ernard Parking is available at the History Center, 2401 N. Laird Ave., with OKDHS providing shuttle transportation to the Sequoyah Building.
Sponsored by the OKDHS Office of Planning, Research, and Statistics and the University of Oklahoma Center for Public Management, the Practice and Policy Lecture Series offers thought-provoking presentations on Oklahoma’s emerging policy issues, trends and best practices.
