OKLAHOMA CAPITOL --- Randy Engel, a nine-year veteran of OKDHS, has been named Child Welfare supervisor in Craig County.
“Area V is proud to have Randy in this position,” said Area V Director Judy Ann Wyatt. “We welcome his talents and skills and wish him much success.”
Engel began his career with Craig County OKDHS in 1996 as an adoption and foster care specialist. He also served as a backup Adult Protective Services specialist for Craig County. Engel served as a comprehensive worker for Child Welfare that included intake, permanency planning and foster care.
"I am excited to accept the supervisor position,” said Engel, “and I’m looking forward to working with everyone."
Engel has been married to Valerie Engel for 29 years. They have three adult children, Lauren, Aaron and Andi, and one grandchild, Taelor.
Randy is active in the Vineyard Church in Vinita and serves as worship leader. He has also been appointed to serve on the Vinita School Board. He enjoys fishing, gardening and carpentry.
