OKLAHOMA CAPITOL --- Gov. Brad Henry will honor five faith-based groups for their achievements at 10:30 a.m. July 26 in the State Capitol Blue Room, 2300 N Lincoln Boulevard, Oklahoma City.
The groups were winners and runner-ups in the Partners in Transformation Contest, co-sponsored by FASTEN, the Points of Light Foundation and the Oklahoma Office of Faith-based and Community Initiatives.
The first place recipient is the Good Shepherd Health Clinic of Muskogee, Inc. The clinic provides health services for the uninsured in the Muskogee area through the use of volunteer health care professionals and others.
