OKLAHOMA CAPITOL -- James Reese has been named Personnel Manager for the Oklahoma Department of Human Services Human Resources Management Division.
"I’m pleased to have Jim taking on this new role in our division," said interim Human Resources Management Division Administrator Dan Fitzgerald. "Jim has been instrumental in developing and implementing many of the recent programs and goals in our division and I’m sure he’ll continue to do great work for the agency."

Reese began his career with OKDHS three years ago as a personnel officer while participating in the Carl Albert Internship Program. Upon completing his internship he served as a senior personnel officer before becoming a human resources consultant. Reese led the Personnel Administration Team before accepting his new position.

"This is an exciting time to serve in OKDHS," said Reese. "I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to this great agency."

Reese graduated from Norman High School and earned both his bachelor’s in English and a master’s in Public Administration from the University of Oklahoma.

Reese’s wife, Brandy, works as a criminalist for the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations.
