OKLAHOMA CAPITOL -- Lynette Drake, a 16-year veteran of the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, has been named Area V Food Stamp Quality Assurance Coordinator.
"We are pleased to have Lynette working in this capacity, " said Judy Wyatt, Area V Director. "Her kind nature, good attitude and attention to detail will be great assets."

During her OKDHS career, Drake has served as a social worker for Aid to Families with Dependent Children/Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, non-public assistance food stamps, certification and job development. She has also supervised TANF, non-public assistance food stamps and long-term care.

"I am thrilled to be a part of the Area V team," said Drake. "I’ll work hard to help our 16 northeastern counties in the completion of the ‘one worker-one family’ concept."

Drake graduated from Allen High School and earned her bachelor’s in elementary education and English, as well as her masters in education from East Central University in Ada.

Drake chaired the Sequoyah County TANF Unit County Work Group, which received a Governor’s Quality Award.

Drake’s husband of 20 years, Stafford, works as an auto body repairman. They have three children, DaLyn Winton, 26, who works as a pharmacist, Tana Morgan, 24, who works as an assistant comptroller for a seed company and Allen Drake, 36, who works in a factory.
