2026 Camp Safety Law

New legislation, House Bill 1675, which was passed and signed into law in 2026, requires all youth camps and recreational campgrounds conduct a site-specific hazard assessment and develop an Emergency Action Plan (EAP) by January 1, 2027. The law takes effect on November 1, 2026.
