The Oklahoma Transportation Commission’s monthly meeting is scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 5, in the R.A. Ward Transportation Building, 200 N.E. 21st St., Oklahoma City. Members of the public and media are invited to attend or watch the livestream video online.
Items to be addressed at the meeting:
· Secretary of Transportation and Oklahoma Department of Transportation Executive Director Tim Gatz will discuss work along the I-35 corridor between Norman and Goldsby.
· Commissioners will consider approving engineering plans for a future 6-lane expansion of I-35 in McClain County.
· Gatz will recognize ODOT’s Guymon crew for winter weather rescue efforts in the Panhandle and update commissioners on the department’s overall response to the recent ice storm.
