The Oklahoma Transportation Commission’s monthly meeting is scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, July 1, in the R.A. Ward Transportation Building, 200 N.E. 21st St., Oklahoma City. Members of the public and media are invited to attend or watch the livestream.
Items to be addressed at the meeting:
- Commissioners will consider the newly completed County Improvements of Roads & Bridges 5 Year County Work Plan for approval.
- Oklahoma Department of Transportation Executive Director Tim Gatz will brief commissioners on the last phase of the "Off-Broadway" I-235/I-44 interchange project with the final phase being the construction of the westbound I-44 on-ramp from Lincoln Blvd.
- The commission will vote on whether to award several contracts, among them a project to add shoulders and resurface nearly 7 miles of SH-82 south of Tahlequah and a nearly 5 mile resurfacing project on I-40 near Shawnee.
