The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is hosting a public meeting to present information on a future project to improve US-69/75 in Bryan County that stretches from US-70 in Durant four miles south through Calera. Drivers will see crews in the area and potential lane closures as early as mid-October.
The department and the contractor will have representatives available to discuss the project sequencing and what the public can expect as the project progresses over the next few years. This project will improve accessibility on and off the highway, protect key interchanges, create one-way frontage roads and add a much needed rail crossing to the four lanes of traffic, all to alleviate traffic congestion and improve safety.
