FIRST LADY SARAH STITT HOSTS FOSTER FAMILY BACK-TO-SCHOOL MOVIE NIGHT IN OKLAHOMA CITY

Lady Sarah Stitt will be hosting a Foster Family Back-to-School Movie Night at the Oklahoma Governor’s Mansion on Thursday, August 15, 2019, in partnership with OICA and Oklahoma Fosters.

Community partners and service providers will be at the event providing backpacks, school supplies, haircuts, a meal, sno cones, popcorn, and a movie all free of charge to local foster families. Sarah wants to show support for the Oklahoma foster community, as well as provide a fun night for families before school starts back up.

“I know this time of year can be really stressful for some families as they gear up to go back to school,” said First Lady Sarah Stitt. “It can get expensive especially for families with multiple children. I wanted to gather the community around our foster families and show them that we really care for them and want to support them in any way that we can.”
