ORU Hosts 5th Annual Faith & Social Work Conference

Thursday, November 13, 2025

The 2025 Faith & Social Work Conference celebrated its fifth year at Oral Roberts University on November 6–7, 2025, bringing together professionals, educators, students, and community leaders from across Oklahoma and beyond.

This 1.5-day event—held both in person and online—was designed to empower, inspire, and equip participants with tools to integrate faith and values into professional practice in mental health, behavioral health, and community service. Attendees engaged in meaningful networking opportunities, heard from dynamic speakers, and earned up to 10 hours of Category 1 CEUs, including 3 hours of ethics training.

OFBCI Director Brian Bobek was honored to serve as the keynote speaker, presenting “Faith & Community: Restoring Fatherhood.” The keynote, followed by a panel discussion, explored how faith-based and community partnerships can strengthen families and support holistic approaches to service.

As the conference marked its fifth anniversary, it continues to stand as a powerful space for dialogue and collaboration—bridging faith and professional excellence to better serve Oklahoma communities.
