OFBCI and DOC Attend Oklahoma Messages Project Fall Luncheon
The Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives (OFBCI) and the Department of Corrections (DOC) were honored to attend the Oklahoma Messages Project (OMP) Fall Luncheon, a celebration of hope, connection, and impact. The event featured inspiring stories and a keynote address from DOC’s Leo Brown.
The Oklahoma Messages Project is a valued partner organization that works within correctional facilities to help incarcerated parents stay connected with their children. Through the program, parents record personal video messages and read books aloud, which are then shared with their children and caregivers to help strengthen family bonds and promote literacy.
OMP continues to make a positive and lasting impact on families across Oklahoma, and we are proud to recognize their important work alongside our partners at the Department of Corrections.
