Investing in Oklahoma’s Next Generation of Leaders

Wednesday, August 12, 2026

Investing in the next generation of leaders is an investment in Oklahoma’s future.

Director Brian Bobek recently had the privilege of speaking with students participating in the 2026 Oklahoma Student Leadership Series, sharing his personal leadership journey and biblical principles that have shaped his life and approach to service.

The opportunity brought together bright and motivated young Oklahomans who are intentionally developing their leadership skills and exploring how they can make a positive difference in their schools, workplaces, and communities.

The Oklahoma Student Leadership Series challenges students to grow through the principles of servant leadership, encouraging thoughtful decision-making, strong values, and a commitment to serving others. Since 2015, the program has provided hundreds of students and young professionals with opportunities to learn from leaders across business, government, and community service.

OFBCI is grateful to the Oklahoma Student Leadership Series for inviting Director Bobek and other community leaders to invest in these students. Programs like this create meaningful opportunities for young people to hear from diverse leaders, ask questions, consider new perspectives, and envision how they can contribute to the future of their communities.

We are thankful for organizations and community partners who intentionally sow into the lives of Oklahoma’s youth. Encouraging and equipping young people today helps build stronger communities and a stronger Oklahoma for tomorrow.

The greatest leadership begins with a heart to serve others—and we are honored to encourage the next generation as they begin their own leadership journeys.
