Through collaboration between the Oklahoma Department of Corrections (DOC), Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives (OFBCI), and local faith partners, lives are being changed behind prison walls.
Recently, Victory Church - Tulsa held an outdoor event at Jess Dunn Correctional Center, marking their sixth prison outreach event across the state this year. Victory was able to minister to nearly 1,000 inmates, provide 1,200 hot meals, and distribute Bibles and faith resources to every participant. More than 300 inmates made faith commitments, with several also reporting moments of physical and emotional healing.
Efforts like this demonstrate how faith-based and community partnerships play a vital role in bringing hope, encouragement, and transformation to incarcerated Oklahomans.
We’re grateful for our partners at Victory Church - Tulsa and DOC for continuing to open doors of opportunity, renewal, and connection across Oklahoma’s correctional facilities.
