Celebrating 10 Years of Impact with Empowered Women of God International

Friday, October 31, 2025

The Oklahoma Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives (OFBCI) was honored to attend the Empowered Women of God International Vision Dinner, celebrating a decade of transformative impact and hope.

For the past ten years, Empowered Women of God International has been helping incarcerated women envision brighter, more productive futures by addressing trauma through a spiritual lens that fosters healing and lasting change. Operating in multiple facilities across 10 states, the organization has positively impacted the lives of more than 4,000 women.

OFBCI Director Brian Bobek was privileged to serve as the keynote speaker for the evening, sharing in the celebration alongside Leo Brown from the Oklahoma Department of Corrections and Pastor Pedro from Victory Church Tulsa.

Together, we celebrate transformation, restoration, and the incredible power of faith in action.
