Wednesday, April 15, 2026

On Saturday, April 11, Director Bobek had the honor of speaking on behalf of Governor Kevin Stitt at the ribbon cutting of Bridging Hunger’s new warehouse in Jenks—joined by hundreds of community members and leaders.

Bridging Hunger continues to lead transformative efforts across Oklahoma, addressing food insecurity and ensuring families have access to essential resources. The opening of this new warehouse marks a significant milestone, expanding their capacity to serve communities with greater reach and efficiency.

The event also brought together state and local leaders, including Congressman Kevin Hern, Senator James Lankford, Tulsa County Commissioner Lonnie Sims, and Jenks Mayor Cory Box, all recognizing the meaningful impact of Bridging Hunger’s work.

This expansion reflects more than growth—it represents a continued commitment to meeting real needs and strengthening communities across Oklahoma.

Congratulations to Bridging Hunger on this important milestone, and thank you for the difference you are making every day.
