In celebration of Father’s Day, the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department is proud to announce that parking will be free at all Oklahoma State Parks on Sunday, June 15, 2025.
This special initiative, part of the "Great Dads, Great Outdoors" campaign, in collaboration with Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives, encourages Oklahomans to spend quality time with the fathers and father figures in their lives while enjoying the state’s natural beauty. From hiking scenic trails and fishing at peaceful lakes, to grilling outdoors or simply relaxing under the open sky, Oklahoma’s state parks offer a wide range of opportunities to make Father’s Day truly memorable.
