Spiritual First Aid (SFA) is a biblically informed, evidence-informed, and trauma-informed training program designed to equip everyday helpers with practical skills for providing peer-to-peer spiritual and emotional care.
Target Audience
SFA is designed for a broad range of helpers, including:
• Everyday Christian helpers/Community Champions and church volunteers seeking to serve others with confidence.
• Organizational leaders and staff in nonprofits, schools, and community groups.
• Mental health champions and outreach workers aiming to reverse the mental health crisis.
• Trauma-informed practitioners who want to integrate spiritual care into their work.
• Anyone concerned about a loved one or neighbor who wants to learn how to respond effectively in times of crisis.
The course is non-sectarian in its approach, meaning it can be used by people of different spiritual beliefs, identities, and affiliations.
The program emphasizes a whole community approach, so participants learn to integrate care into church, organizational, and community settings.
Space is limited to first 50 registered.
