Stress Management Massage Chairs

Stress Management Massage Chairs are expertly crafted to provide targeted anxiety relief through advanced features like zero-gravity positioning, which reduces physical tension by evenly distributing body weight, and customizable massage settings that focus on key stress points such as the neck, shoulders, and back.

These chairs often incorporate soothing heat therapy and rhythmic massage techniques to lower cortisol levels while boosting the release of feel-good hormones like serotonin and dopamine, promoting a deep sense of calm. Designed for convenience and daily use, they offer a practical solution for managing chronic stress and enhancing mental well-being in the comfort of home.

Hyperbaric Chamber

Hyperbaric Chambers deliver therapeutic benefits for mental well-being and cognitive health by immersing users in a pressurized environment where they breathe pure oxygen, enhancing oxygen delivery to the brain and body tissues.

This increased oxygenation can reduce inflammation, promote neural repair, and improve mental clarity, making it a promising tool for conditions like anxiety, depression, and cognitive decline. Studies suggest that regular sessions may boost mood, sharpen focus, and support overall brain function, offering a non-invasive approach to mental wellness and resilience.

Brain Mapping / Neuro Feedback

Brain Mapping, often paired with Neurofeedback, is a cutting-edge technique that uses advanced imaging, like quantitative EEG (qEEG), to visualize brain activity patterns and identify areas of dysregulation linked to stress, anxiety, or cognitive challenges.

Neurofeedback then trains the brain by providing real-time feedback—through sounds, visuals, or games—encouraging it to self-regulate and optimize its performance over time. This personalized approach can enhance mental clarity, emotional balance, and focus, making it a powerful tool for improving overall mental health and cognitive resilience.

EMDR Therapy

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy is a specialized psychotherapy designed to help individuals process and heal from trauma by using guided eye movements or other bilateral stimulation to rewire how distressing memories are stored in the brain. By reducing the emotional charge of traumatic experiences, it can alleviate symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, and depression, often faster than traditional talk therapies.

This evidence-based approach empowers patients to regain control over their mental well-being, fostering resilience and emotional freedom through structured, therapist-led sessions.

First Responder Financial Classes

In the wellness division, we recognize the distinct financial challenges faced by first responders. Our statewide study identified personal finance as the third most significant stressor for this group. To address these concerns, we offer CLEET-accredited finance courses specifically designed for first responders, grounded in a thorough understanding of personal finance principles.

Our goal is to empower first responders with the knowledge needed to manage debt, navigate investing, create budgets, and plan for a secure retirement.

Statewide Physical Fitness & Nutritional Program

The Oklahoma First Responder Wellness Division places great importance on education and prevention as key components of fostering a healthy community among First Responders. Among their primary focuses are nutrition and fitness, which play a vital role in overall well-being.

Our Basic Nutrition course provides an overview of the nutrients necessary for your body to function properly. This course teaches First Responders to make small adjustments to their eating habits, promoting lifestyle changes rather than restrictive dieting. Additionally, participants will receive tips for grocery shopping and guidance on making healthier food choices. The course addresses emotional eating and offers strategies to avoid it. The Basic Nutrition course is accredited by CLEET, attendees will earn 1 CLEET hour and 1 Mental Health hour.

The Wellness Division will support First Responders by calculating the daily nutritional intake required for each individual. These customized calculations are based on personal goals and current eating habits, creating a plan designed for sustainable lifestyle adjustments.

We understand that fitness is not a "one-size-fits-all" solution. We take the time to speak with each First Responder to determine their workout interests and develop a fitness plan tailored to their individual goals, interests, and fitness levels.

Furthermore, the Wellness Division has 13 Connex boxes and 4 CrossFit trailers located throughout Oklahoma for First Responders. Group workouts are available to all, offering a variety of options, including CrossFit, high-intensity training, weightlifting, yoga, and rucking/walking. There is something for everyone, regardless of fitness level!

Critical Incident Stress Managment

Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) provides essential support for individuals, particularly first responders, following traumatic events, offering both one-on-one and group peer support to address emotional and psychological needs.

Through defusings—immediate, informal discussions post-incident—and structured debriefings, CISM helps participants process their experiences, reduce acute stress, and prevent long-term effects like PTSD. This comprehensive approach fosters resilience and recovery, ensuring those affected have a safe space to heal and regain stability after crisis.

Mental Health Training

Mental Health Training specifically designed for first responders addresses the unique psychological battles faced throughout their careers, such as chronic stress, trauma exposure, and burnout.

This targeted training equips participants with practical tools to recognize early signs of mental health struggles, manage emotional triggers, and build resilience against the cumulative toll of their high-stakes work. By fostering awareness and coping strategies, it empowers first responders to navigate their challenges, maintain well-being, and sustain long-term career endurance.
