Oklahoma State Fair Access for All

The Council was very excited to collaborate with the Oklahoma State Fair to provide Oklahomans an opportunity to attend the Oklahoma State Fair in Oklahoma City (the State’s Premier Family Attraction) with confidence, dignity, safety, and fun. This work added the additional services of a universal and accessible restroom and a calming room with activities that are sensory friendly with pre-visit communications can provide comfort and inclusion for any families which may have felt attendance was not realistic for or applicable to them.

This initiative brought Momentum Refresh to Oklahoma for the first time. Momentum Refresh is a mobile universal and accessible restroom.
