Nominations Being Accepted for Governor's Disability Employment Awards!

The Governor's Disability Employment Awards of Excellence celebration is coming up in October!

The Oklahoma Governor’s Office, the Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation, Oklahoma Human Services/Developmental Disabilities Services, the Developmental Disabilities Council of Oklahoma, and the Oklahoma Association of People Supporting Employment First are now accepting nominations for the upcoming Governor's Disability Employment Awards of Excellence October 21, 2026!  These awards celebrate the contributions Oklahomans with disabilities make to the workplace every day,

Use the links below to nominate an employee, business, media, support staff, and community partner to nominate people and businesses you know today!

Nominations are due August 1, 2026!

Employees with Disabilities Award - Nominate a person with a disability who is employed at a job in the community and has been on the job for at least 6 months.

Business Award - Nominate a business that have employed a person with a disability for at least 6 months.

Media Award – Nominate a person or organization that has supported disability employment through any type of media (social, newspaper, podcast, television, radio, etc.).

Support Staff Award – Nominate a support staff who provides competitive employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

Community Partner Award – Nominate a Community Partner who advocate for or advance employment for people with disability.
