LIHEAP Winter Heating Assistance Starts

Oklahoma Human Services (OKDHS) will begin accepting online LIHEAP applications, Tuesday, January 10, 2023, for winter heating assistance. 

LIHEAP stands for Low Income House Energy Assistance Program. It is a federally funded program that helps eligible households pay for their home energy costs. It is administered by the Department of Health and Human Services and available in all states. The program helps households who are struggling to pay their energy bills due to limited income, high energy costs, or both. To qualify for LIEAP, households must meet certain income, resource, and other requirements.
