Council on Judicial Complaints

The Oklahoma Council on Judicial Complaints is composed of three members who serve five-year terms. At least one of the members must be a non-lawyer. They are appointed, one each, by the President Pro Tempore of the Oklahoma Senate, the Speaker of the Oklahoma House of Representatives, and the President of the Oklahoma Bar Association.  The Council Members meet once per month to hear reports from the General Counsel, take testimony, and review evidence to determine whether a violation of the Code of Judicial Conduct or other law has occurred by clear and convincing evidence.
