Head of Human Resources

Kimberly Norried serves as the Head of Human Resources for the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs, where she partners with agency leadership to align human resources strategies with organizational goals. Her responsibilities include overseeing HR operations and systems, advising leadership on employee relations and workforce matters, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, applying laws and policies related to state employment, assessing staffing needs, leading recruitment, and hiring efforts, and managing payroll department staff and operations.

Kimberly comes to ODVA with over 20 years of experience as a dedicated public servant in the State of Oklahoma. Her certifications include the State of Oklahoma Certified Personnel Professional (CPP), Professional In Human Resources (PHR), SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and State of Oklahoma Certified Mediator.

She enjoys discovering new places through travel and cruising, connecting with friends through her book club, and attending OU and Thunder games. Family remains at the center of her life, especially time spent with her children and grandchildren.
