OKLAHOMA CITY (May 7, 2026) - Governor Kevin Stitt signed 20 bills into law while vetoing eight.

SIGNED:

SB 330:

An Act relating to the Oklahoma State University Veterinary Medicine Authority; defining terms; authorizing the Authority to conduct study on elk populations in this state; requiring a plan to be established by certain date; specifying parameters of study; requiring a management plan to be created at conclusion of study; allowing the Authority to coordinate with other agencies and experts; providing for codification; providing an effective date; and declaring an emergency. 

SB 444:

An Act relating to controlled dangerous substances; amending 63 O.S. 2021, Sections 2-315 and 2-508, which relate to destruction of controlled dangerous substances and disposition of seized property; modifying and removing requirements and procedures related to destruction; modifying terminology; requiring compliance with federal regulation; allowing ultimate user to submit own drugs for destruction under certain conditions; permitting destruction of decedent’s prescribed drugs under certain conditions; authorizing qualified hospice program to destroy decedent’s prescribed drugs under certain conditions; requiring completion and submission of certain form; defining terms; removing requirement for certain destruction site; updating statutory language; updating statutory references; and providing an effective date.

An Act relating to the Oklahoma Environmental Quality Code; amending 27A O.S. 2021, Sections 2-14-103, 2- 14-301, 2-14-302, 2-14-303, and 2-14-304, which relate to the Oklahoma Uniform Environmental Permitting Act; modifying definitions; modifying requirements and procedures for certain notifications; requiring certain information be made available online; modifying time frame for which certain meetings are held; modifying time frame for which certain response is prepared; modifying provisions for certain administrative hearing; updating statutory language; updating statutory reference; and providing an effective date. 

SB 1365:

An Act relating to the Oklahoma Central Purchasing Act; amending 74 O.S. 2021, Section 85.3A, as amended by Section 53, Chapter 228, O.S.L. 2022 (74 O.S. Supp. 2025, Section 85.3A), which relates to exempted entities; updating statutory language; adding certain exemption; exempting certain purchases made by the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department from the Oklahoma Central Purchasing Act; exceeding certain amount; construing provisions; and providing for codification.

An Act relating to medicolegal investigations; amending 63 O.S. 2021, Section 1-317d, which relates to sudden unexplained infant death investigations; defining terms; broadening applicability of certain requirements; describing investigations; requiring certain documentation and reporting of specified cases; requiring certain notice to parent or legal guardian; conferring certain right on parent or legal guardian; amending 63 O.S. 2021, Section 938, as amended by Section 3, Chapter 263, O.S.L. 2024 (63 O.S. Supp. 2025, Section 938), which relates to types of deaths to be investigated; requiring investigation of certain deaths; updating statutory reference; providing for recodification; and providing an effective date. 

SB 1565:

An Act relating to the state Medicaid program; defining term; establishing certain powers and duties of the Oklahoma Health Care Authority for the purpose of participation in the Transforming Maternal Health (TMaH) Model; limiting use of certain funds; requiring inclusion of nutrition support services; requiring and authorizing certain additional services subject to specified condition; requiring submission of certain final report; providing for codification; providing an effective date; and declaring an emergency. 

SB 1644:

An Act relating to public health; amending 63 O.S. 2021, Section 1-503, which relates to reports of disease; updating statutory language and reference; requiring addition of alpha-gal disease to list of reportable conditions; making language gender neutral; and providing an effective date. 

SB 1812:

An Act relating to schools; amending 70 O.S. 2021, Section 1210.508, as last amended by Section 10, Chapter 492, O.S.L. 2025 (70 O.S. Supp. 2025, Section 1210.508), which relates to the statewide system of student assessments; requiring public school districts that administer certain assessments to students in certain grades to report certain results in certain manner; allowing a public school district without certain portal to electronically report certain results to the State Department of Education; directing the Department to make certain results available using certain manner and method; updating statutory language; providing an effective date; and declaring an emergency. 

SB 1826:

An Act relating to development incentives; amending 62 O.S. 2021, Sections 842, as last amended by Section 1, Chapter 203, O.S.L. 2025, and 843 (62 O.S. Supp. 2025, Section 842), which relate to the Oklahoma Local Development and Enterprise Zone Incentive Leverage Act; eliminating sunset date provisions; updating statutory reference; updating statutory language; and providing an effective date. 

SB 1975:

An Act relating to schools; amending 70 O.S. 2021, Section 1210.704, as amended by Section 20, Chapter 323, O.S.L. 2023 (70 O.S. Supp. 2025, Section 1210.704), which relates to advanced placement courses; requiring public school districts to make certain examinations available to certain students; requiring districts to post certain information about the examinations on their websites; directing certain online learning platform to be available to all students in the state; providing an effective date; and declaring an emergency. 

SB 1976:

An Act relating to oil and gas; amending 52 O.S. 2021, Section 318.1, as amended by Section 1, Chapter 24, O.S.L. 2025 (52 O.S. Supp. 2025, Section 318.1), which relates to agreement as to compliance with drilling and plugging regulations; authorizing certain operators to make voluntary election; requiring certain notice; authorizing retention of certain right; requiring certain permanence beyond expiration; requiring operators to post surety by certain date; updating statutory language; and declaring an emergency. 

SB 2026:

An Act relating to counties; amending 19 O.S. 2021, Section 270, which relates to confidentiality of Department of Defense Form 214; authorizing grandchildren of veterans to view certain military discharge papers; updating statutory reference; and providing an effective date. 

SB 2067:

An Act relating to financial institutions; amending 6 O.S. 2021, Section 2205, which relates to the Financial Privacy Act; permitting disclosure or release of information for investigations of financial exploitation of protected adults; defining terms; requiring employees of certain institutions to notify the institution of suspected financial exploitation of a protected adult; directing certain institution to notify proper agency; permitting certain institution to notify trusted contact of suspected financial exploitation of a protected adult; authorizing temporary holds; requiring provision of certain notice of temporary hold; requiring provision of certain timeline for temporary hold; exempting notice to trusted contact if contact is suspected of financial exploitation of the protected adult; providing immunity for certain institution and employees for compliance with section; requiring retention of certain records; permitting access to certain records upon certification by an agency that an investigation into financial exploitation of a protected adult is being undertaken by the agency; authorizing certain statement containing financial information during certain time frame; requiring requests to comply with the Financial Privacy Act; providing for codification; and providing an effective date. 

SB 2072:

An Act relating to conveyances; amending Section 1, Chapter 109, O.S.L. 2025 (16 O.S. Supp. 2025, Section 311), which relates to notice of fraudulent conveyance; updating statutory reference; prohibiting charging of fee for certain filing; requiring certain notice to certain law enforcement agencies; and providing an effective date.

HB 4434:

SB 378:

An Act relating to bail bondsmen; amending 59 O.S. 2021, Section 1306.1, which relates to multicounty agent bondsmen applications; allowing Insurance Commissioner to approve certain bondsman to write bonds over certain deposit amount; allowing Commissioner to limit written bond amount; prohibiting Commissioner from releasing certain deposit for certain time period under certain circumstances; allowing Commissioner to reduce certain deposit bond amount written over certain deposit amount; requiring Commissioner to provide certain notice; updating statutory language; updating statutory reference; and providing an effective date. 

SB 1428:

An Act relating to Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias; creating the Office of Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementia Service Coordination within the State Department of Health; providing powers and duties; establishing dementia services coordinator position; creating the Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementia Service Coordination Revolving Fund; specifying type of fund and source of monies; stating purpose of fund; providing for expenditure of monies; repealing 63 O.S. 2021, Sections 1-879.2 and 1-879.3, which relate to Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias; providing for codification; and providing an effective date. 

SB 1500:

An Act relating to pharmacy benefits managers; amending 59 O.S. 2021, Section 357, as last amended by Section 2, Chapter 414, O.S.L. 2025 (59 O.S.
