Governor Stitt Criticizes Drummond for Opposing Trump-Backed Aluminum Project

OKLAHOMA CITY (June 2, 2026) - Governor Kevin Stitt issued a statement criticizing Attorney General Gentner Drummond for targeting one of the largest economic development projects in state history. This project, backed by President Donald Trump, will strengthen a critical supply chain for all Americans.

“As soon as President Trump made his endorsement in the governor’s race, Attorney General Drummond dropped the act and showed his true colors," said Stitt.
