OKLAHOMA CITY (December 15, 2025) - Today, Governor Kevin Stitt announced three new additions to his communications team to support the ongoing work of his administration as he enters the 2026 legislative session. He is proud to welcome Sarah Corley, Tevis Hillis, and Isabella Canino to the team.
“I am thrilled to welcome a top-notch group of communicators to my staff,” said Governor Stitt. “Each of them grew up here and embody the values that we hold dear in Oklahoma. This team brings unique talents, experiences, and perspectives that will be essential to the important work ahead. They are truly the right team to help champion and tell Oklahoma’s story, and I look forward to all that we will accomplish together.”
Leading the team as Director of Communications is Sarah Corley, a seasoned communicator and strategist with multi-industry expertise. Her experience includes a dozen years in Washington, D.C., where she served in senior communications roles within Oklahoma's congressional delegation and for key committees on Capitol Hill. She also worked in media relations for America’s first museum of modern art. An Oklahoma City native and graduate of Oklahoma Baptist University, she returned home in 2023 and joined a local investment firm, overseeing marketing, communications, and external relations before founding her own consulting practice specializing in strategic communications and image development for dynamic leaders.
“I am honored to join Governor Stitt and support his leadership during what will be a milestone year,” said Corley. “Drawing on many years in service to our great state, I look forward to further elevating Oklahoma values and activating an exceptional team of communicators along the way.”
Tevis Hillis will serve as Press Secretary, acting as the Governor’s spokesperson for state media. Prior to this role, she was an anchor and reporter for the CBS station in Oklahoma City. A lifelong Oklahoman and champion for transparency, Hillis grew up in Lawton and graduated from the University of Oklahoma. Her role in higher education continued in later years, serving in a supervising staff role for the student-produced newscast. The opportunity allowed her to mentor hundreds of potential and promising students.
“I’ve dedicated the early part of my career to serving Oklahomans, and I look forward to continuing that mission in this capacity,” said Hillis.
Isabella Canino will serve as Director of Digital Media, bringing fresh ideas to the Governor’s digital presence. A sixth-generation Oklahoman, Canino’s experience includes digital media management across higher education, the wedding industry, and multiple political campaigns, including Governor Stitt’s 2022 reelection effort. She previously directed the social media strategy for Southern Nazarene University, where she strengthened the institution’s online presence and engagement.
“This role represents advancing work that really matters, and I am eager to help move it forward alongside this team,” said Canino. “I’m grateful to Governor Stitt for giving me this opportunity to serve my state and advance his message to all four million Oklahomans."
The team will report to Abegail Cave in her new role as Deputy Chief of Staff.
