Governor Stitt Commends Lawton Mayor for Leadership on Homelessness

Today Governor Stitt commended Lawton Mayor Stan Booker for taking decisive action to address homelessness in his community.

“I applaud Mayor Booker for stepping up to address the issue of homelessness in Lawton,” said Governor Stitt. “It is not compassionate to let people live on the streets, but it is the job of state and local leadership to enforce the law. The people of Oklahoma deserve safe communities, and I’m proud of Mayor Booker for his dedication to addressing homelessness in Lawton.”
