Governor Stitt announced that he will appoint Zach Archer and Alex Gray to the Oklahoma State Board of Education.
Zach Archer currently serves on the board of Hammon Public Schools. He is also the managing director at Great Plains Investment Services.
“Zach has been a passionate advocate for students in his role as vice president of the Hammon School District,” said Gov. Stitt. “His investment in his community gives me confidence that he will work tirelessly for students across Oklahoma.”
“I am honored to have Governor Stitt’s trust to serve on the Oklahoma State Board of Education,” said Archer. “As a parent and a current local school board member, I take this appointment very seriously and look forward to working on behalf of all Oklahoman students.”
Archer will serve as the at-large member on the Board.
Alex Gray is the managing partner at American Global Strategies, an international consulting and strategy advisory firm. Concurrently, Gray is a senior fellow in national security affairs at the American Foreign Policy Council, a senior advisor at The Marathon Initiative, and various other private research institutes.
"Alex is a dedicated public servant with a proven record of defending Oklahoma values," said Governor Stitt. “Alex's unique background will bring a new perspective that will greatly contribute to the Board's mission.”

Gray served as deputy assistant to the President and chief of staff of the White House National Security Council under former President Donald Trump, in addition to other roles at the National Security Council and National Economic Council.
Gray attended Oklahoma State University before graduating with a degree in International Affairs from the Elliot School of International Affairs at George Washington University. Gray is a recipient of the Secretary of Defense Medal for Outstanding Public Service and the National Security Council's Outstanding Service Award.
Gray will serve as the member for CD 5 on the Board.
