Governor Kevin Stitt to Visit Ponca City Next Week as Second Stop on Top Ten Cabinet Tour

Governor Kevin Stitt announced today that he and his cabinet secretaries will visit Ponca City on August 17 as the second stop on his 2021 Top Ten Traveling Cabinet Tour to allow Oklahomans to hear from state leaders and discuss issues important to their communities. The Ponca City visit will start at 11 a.m. with a public presentation by Gov. Stitt, Lt. Gov. Matt Pinnell and members of the cabinet at City Central, 400 E. Central Ave., Suite 200. A brief reception will follow where Oklahomans can speak one-on-one with the governor and state leaders.

I am excited to bring my team to Ponca City because it is so important that Oklahomans in all areas of the state have the chance to interact with their leaders,” said Gov. Stitt. “It is so beneficial for us to visit different communities and hear about issues that are important to the people we serve and for us to give an update on the things we are doing to make Oklahoma a Top Ten state.”

WHEN: Tuesday, August 17. Doors open at 10:30 a.m., public meeting begins at 11:00 a.m. and concludes at 12:00 p.m. with a public meet and greet to follow.

WHERE: City Central, 400 E. Central Ave. Suite 200, Ponca City, OK 74601

Admission is free and open to the public.

Lieutenant Governor Matt Pinnell, Secretary of Tourism, Wildlife and Heritage; Brian Bingman, Secretary of State and Native American Affairs; Blayne Arthur, Secretary of Agriculture; Scott Mueller, Secretary of Commerce and Workforce Development; Steven Harpe, Chief Operating Officer, Acting Secretary of Digital Transformation and Administration; Jennifer Grigsby, Secretary of Economic Administration; Ryan Walters, Secretary of Education; Kenneth Wagner, Secretary of Energy and Environment; Kevin Corbett, Secretary of Health and Mental Health; Tricia Everest, Secretary of Public Safety; Justin Brown, Secretary of Human Services; Susan Winchester, Secretary of Licensing and Regulation; Tim Gatz, Secretary of Transportation; Elizabeth Pollard, Secretary of Science and Innovation; and General Ben T. Robinson, Secretary of Veteran Affairs and Military.

Ponca City is the second stop on the tour following a visit in July to Altus.
