Oklahoma City, Okla. (February 13, 2019) – Governor Kevin Stitt released the following statement praising the House passage of HB 2597 today by a vote of 70 to 30:
“I have said from the very beginning I would sign legislation that places Oklahoma in the ranks with more than 12 other states allowing Constitutional Carry. This legislation received overwhelming support in the House, and I applaud leadership for advancing a measure that supports Oklahomans’ Second Amendment rights.”
