GOVERNOR KEVIN STITT ANNOUNCES REAPPOINTMENT OF JOE HALL TO OSU/A&M BOARD OF REGENTS

Oklahoma City, Okla. (February 28, 2019) – Governor Kevin Stitt announced today the reappointment of Joe Hall to the Board of Regents for the Oklahoma Agriculture and Mechanical Colleges.

 “Joe Hall has been a steady hand and an effective leader as a member of the OSU/A&M Board of Regents. His dedication to helping higher education deliver services more effectively and efficiently will yield great outcomes not only for our students but also for our state,” said Stitt.

Joe's steadfast commitment to rural Oklahoma and access to higher education reflects the land-grant mission of the entire OSU System,” said President Burns Hargis, Oklahoma State University.

Mr. Joe D. Hall is a lifelong resident of Elk City, Oklahoma. For the past 33 years he has built and operated a family owned construction company while also maintaining farming and ranching operations in Beckham, Custer, and Dewey counties. Raising cattle, working on land improvement projects, banking, and facilities construction continue to be his lifetime passions. He is very proud of his rural heritage and devotes his time and efforts to facilitating, enhancing, and securing educational, agricultural, public and healthcare related opportunities for rural Oklahoma. Mr. Hall was first appointed by Governor Brad Henry in 2003, reappointed by Governor Mary Fallin in 2011, and reappointed by Governor Kevin Stitt to serve as a member of the A&M Board of Regents. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Oklahoma State University in 1983, graduating with honors. Mr. Hall and his wife, Vickie, have been married for 35 years and have two daughters, Grace and Hope.
