Dick Conner Correctional Center volunteers excellent role models for inmates

Monday, April 08, 2019

ODOC has as many volunteers as we do employees – more than 4,000. We simply couldn’t operate our system without them. During National Volunteer Week, we will introduce you to a few of them.

Today’s are Stan and Pat Mills. The couple has volunteered at Dick Conner Correctional Center since 2012, teaching various classes involving victim impact. More than 500 inmates have successfully completed their classes.

During classes, they provide excellent counsel for their students, and serve as positive role models.

The Millses are a vital part of chapel and program services at DCCC. Everyone at the facility and ODOC thanks them for their service.
