ODOC tours Capitol restoration project

Thursday, July 12, 2018

ODOC staff members Ashlee Clemmons, Tina Hicks, David Cincotta, Faron Bryant, Charles Brewer, and Marilyn Davidson (not shown) got the chance to tour the Capitol Restoration Project today with Trait Thompson, the project’s manager.

Lawmakers authorized a $116.5 million dollar bond for ODOC last session to pay for construction and maintenance needs across the agency – items that range from new roofs and locks for cell doors to lighting and plumbing.

Today, Thompson led our group through the Capitol’s renovations to provide insight into how the state has managed the bond process for the project.
