Man serving burglary sentence walks away from Jackie Brannon Correctional Center

OKLAHOMA CITY – A man serving time on a second-degree burglary conviction out of Delaware County walked away early Sunday morning from a McAlester minimum security prison. 

Morgan Mitzner walked away early Sunday morning from Jackie Brannon Correctional Center in McAlester.Morgan L. Mitzner, 57, was last seen around 3:50 a.m. at Jackie Brannon Correctional Center. He is described as white, about 6-feet tall and weighing about 180 pounds. 

Mitzner was serving a 30-year sentence when he walked away. 

JBCC is home to 730 inmates and located just next to maximum-security Oklahoma State Penitentiary.
