The Oklahoma Department of Corrections congratulates 32 new correctional officers who graduated from the 6-week training academy Thursday. The newly sworn officers are assigned across the state at facilities needing more manpower. The Oklahoma State Reformatory in McAlester gets the biggest boost with 5 new officers. Mabel Bassett Correctional Center, William Key Correctional Center, and the Lexington Assessment and Reception Center all get four.
Please help us welcome these officers to a bright future with DOC, helping us protect the public while making a difference in many people’s lives.
