DCCC Fourth Quarter Employee Recognition Event held Nov. 29
Dick Conner Correctional Center’s (DCCC) Warden, Janet Dowling, and her staff celebrated the 2017 Employees of the Fourth Quarter and recognized October, November and December Longevity Service Award recipients Nov. 29 at the 2017 Fourth Quarter Employee Recognition Event.
Non-Uniformed Employee of the Quarter
Unit Manager Travis Gray is the 2017 Non-Uniformed Employee of the Fourth Quarter.
Gray began his career with the Oklahoma Department of Corrections as a cadet in 1995 and has been a Probation and Parole Officer, Correctional Case Manager, Correctional Records Officer, Administrative Programs Officer and Unit Manager.
Gray rose to Unit Manager at James Crabtree Correctional Center in Helena, Oklahoma, and later transferred to DCCC in Hominy, Oklahoma, in 2017.
Despite only being Unit Manager at DCCC for a short time, Gray has shown strong leadership skills and leads with compassion and knowledge.
He has worked two inmate housing units and trained several new case managers. His units have improved greatly. His case managers are more knowledgeable and have stronger unit management skills.
Uniformed Employee of the Quarter
Sgt. Creighton White is the 2017 Uniformed Employee of the Fourth Quarter.
White not only performs his duties as the Armory Officer with a high degree of excellence, but he also completes any tasks asked of him. A former DCCC Employee of the Year in 2012, White is also a member of the Employee Enhancement and Recruitment and Retention Committee.

Warden Dowling thanked three employees for their dedication and service to ODOC and presented each with a certificate and pin. Those included are:
- Michelle Lehnus, Correctional Health Service Administrator - 5 years
- Lt. Amy Vann - 5 years
- Dr. Larry Bowler, Lead Staff Physician II - 10 years
