APPLICATION PROCESS – WHAT TO EXPECT

  • After you submit the application for employment with the Oklahoma Department of Corrections (ODOC), you should expect to receive an email in a relatively short amount of time (10-30 minutes) indicating your application's receipt by the Office of Management and Enterprise Services – Human Capital Management (OMES-HCM).
  • After receipt of your initial e-mail from OMES-HCM, you should expect to receive a second e-mail from OMES-HCM in 4-5 days indicating your application was routed to the hiring agency for review.
  • After receipt of your second e-mail from OMES-HCM, you should expect to receive an e-mail and/or phone call from ODOC within the next 4-5 days to schedule a time for your interview.
  • Any and all employment and hiring process inquiries for positions with the ODOC are welcomed to be sent to:

In Compliance with the reporting requirements of 74 O.S. 3106.4[C], this agency is making known that it stores name, birth date, place of birth, mother's maiden name, biometric records, Social Security number, official state or government issued driver license or identification number, alien registration number, government passport number, and employer or taxpayer identification numbers. The personally identifiable data is stored both electronically and in confidential paper files. The data is shared in compliance with court orders and agreements with other government bodies.
