Register and Request Veteran State Benefits

Veterans registry needs to be completed prior to requesting state veteran benefits.

State Veteran Benefit Request

Because of the federal shutdown, many processing timelines are delayed.

Did you know…

If the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs (ODVA) holds your Power of Attorney (POA), we can verify your eligibility faster and process your state veterans benefits more quickly.

Having your POA on file allows our Veteran Service Representatives (VSRs) to access the information needed to assist you—cutting down delays and helping you get the support you deserve.

If you’re not sure whether ODVA holds your POA, or if you’d like to file one, contact your local Veteran Service Office or call 405-523-4000.

We’re here to help Oklahoma veterans get the benefits they’ve earned.

Veteran or Surviving Spouse MUST be an Oklahoma resident and have a current Oklahoma address.
