Sandra Shelton is the Director of Strategic Communications and Legislative Affairs for the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs (ODVA). In her role, she leads initiatives that enhance the lives of Oklahomans by forecasting veteran-related policies and engaging with the Oklahoma Legislature, the Executive Branch, and Congress.

Her expanded public information officer role includes directing content creation, developing marketing strategies, managing high-profile events, and producing and overseeing engaging digital, video, audio, and print communications.
